“Miss Liza” holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Messiah College and serves as Preschool Director and Director of Children’s Ministries for St. John’s UCC. Outside of working with the youth of the church, she enjoys reading, singing in the choir, cuddling with her pets, and exploring local trails with her husband and son. Miss Liza also holds the role of PTO Treasurer for her son’s elementary school, and volunteers as a Hospital Coordinator and a Support Group Facilitator for Sweet Grace Ministries.

“Miss Trinda” holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Penn State University and did graduate work in Elementary Education at Millersville University. She worked as a special education teacher and instructional support teacher for Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 and Red Lion Area School District for over 20 years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.

Our Curriculum
Our preschool program is designed to nurture the whole child, socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually. Our primary goal is to help each child develop positive social skills and confidently follow classroom routines, building a strong foundation for a smooth and successful transition to kindergarten.
Through hands-on activities, arts and crafts, and purposeful play, children explore early literacy, pre-math concepts, and fine motor skills each day. As a Christ-centered preschool, faith is thoughtfully woven into our learning with joyful songs, Bible stories, and prayers.
Learning is further enriched throughout the year with engaging field trips and special guest presentations that spark curiosity and broaden children’s experiences.
