Parent Reviews of the 2025-2026 School Year
We are in our third year at St. John’s Preschool, and our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. Both of my daughters have attended, and we’ve consistently felt supported, welcomed, and confident in the care and education they receive. The teachers create a loving, engaging environment where the children truly thrive, and it feels like a second home for our family. We are so grateful to be part of this preschool community.

My son attended the tots and is currently in the Pre-k program and is really enjoying his time with Ms. Liza, Ms. Trinda, and the staff. Not only is he enjoying his time playing and socializing, he is learning structure, routines, and is really starting to grow in his early academics. As an occasional parent volunteer, I was also able to witness how passionate the teachers are for the children to learn and get ready for the start of their educational journey. It is a great program with many educational trips, activities, parties, guest speakers/presenters and would be a great choice if you are considering. Highly recommend!

My son attended both Miss. Liza’s Tots and Pre-K classes (2023-2025). We couldn’t have asked for a better preschool experience for him. As a parent nothing worries you more than sending your child off to try something new without you. The support and communication were beyond my expectations. The confidence he’s developed in his learning is so awesome to see! My son loves coming to school everyday and I’m excited for him to carry on that trait into kindergarten thanks to Miss Liza and Miss Trinda. Also the field trips and educational classroom presenters are a plus too!

We are currently taking part in our 2nd round of the St. John’s UCC Tots and Preschool experience! Our daughter, now a 6 year old, started her love for learning a St. John’s and is now thriving in 1st grade!
Our son has been enjoying his time in the Tots program and monopolizes our dinner conversations sharing the new knowledge and fun activities he took part in at school. Miss Liza and Miss Trinda are highly qualified educators that provide the learners with an environment that balances both content and social skills. They understand the importance of the school/home connection and always keep us informed of the curriculum being taught, daily projects and activities and upcoming field trips and events.
We look forward to our son moving on to the Preschool program at St. John’s next year and we plan to have our third child also take part in both programs!

Parent Reviews of the 2023-2024 School Year
My sons attended Miss Liza's 4 year old Pre-K class. This was their first classroom setting and they loved it! They enjoyed the various activities, projects, and hands-on learning environment. They also liked the educational field trips and holiday parties. Miss Liza does a great job at communicating the weekly schedules. As a parent, it is nice to know what your child is learning each day. I am glad my boys got their start at St. John's UCC Preschool, and I highly recommend Miss Liza and Miss Trinda.

We have loved our experience with St. John’s preschool so far. Our 3 year old is attending the Tots program and has made leaps and bounds in his confidence and curiosity for learning. He loves to come home and share what he has learned and what activities/crafts he has done. We look forward to his PreK year and would recommend this program to other families.

Miss Liza and Miss Trinda encouraged our apprehensive tot and turned him into an enthusiastic student. The teachers keep the children active and engaged throughout class and keep the parents well-informed.

Our son is in the Tot's program and he loves it! Every school day he wakes up excited to see his teachers and classmates. When Tots first started, he was shy and afraid to talk to adults and did not know how to play with other kids his age. Only a few weeks in and we noticed he was becoming less shy with his peers and teachers. He was also talking more at home. Now I see an excited toddler, eager to learn and interact with others. We are so thankful for Tots and recommend St. John's as Preschool to any child.

Both our girls attended/currently attend preschool at St. John’s UCC.
I watched my oldest who is now in kindergarten grow over her 2 years in preschool, and she was more than ready for kindergarten.
My youngest is currently in the 3 year old Tots class and she is normally shy, but loves going to preschool and coming home to share what she learned. She loves the music and I randomly catch her singing her school songs.
Miss Liza is great at communicating with parents by sending out an email weekly with the planned activities, so that parents can ask specific questions about their child’s day at school. The activities are academic and faith based, and field trips make for special days!

Parent Reviews of the 2021-2022 School Year
What a blessing St. John's UCC Preschool program has been so far. Our daughter is in the Tots class this year, and she has nothing but excitement for preschool. She attends two days a week, but asks everyday if she is going to preschool - she can't get enough of it.
From Bible lessons to age-appropriate, engaging activities to fun field trips, the teachers at St. John's go above and beyond to create meaningful, academic activities while making sure the children have so much fun.
Our daughter will continue her preschool education at St. John's next year, and my husband and I are fully confident that she will be more than prepared for kindergarten. Being her first year in a school environment, we thank St. John's for giving our daughter such a positive experience.

Our son attended both the 3 and 4 year old programs at St. John’s. He is excited to go to school each day and can’t wait to show us the activities (craft/letter page/song) each week. The teachers are all very welcoming and patient with the children. Miss Liza does a great job communicating with parents regarding weekly activities as well as upcoming events. We like that the preschool program is faith based. We feel that St. John’s has given our son a great foundation to build his education on.
