Meets on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in the Social Room
Boy Scout Troop 35 was started at St. John's in 1928. Today, it remains an active program. In a typical year, the troop activities include: a trip to a cabin in the mountains (January), the Klondike Camporee (February), a trout fishing trip (April), the Spring Camporee (May), backpacking on the Appalachian Trail (June), a week of summer camp at Camp Tuckahoe, the Wizard Ranch Fall Camporee (September), a Christmas Banquet (December), and several fundraising activities.
Cub Pack 35 includes Tiger Cubs, a Wolf Den, a Bear Den, and two Webelo Dens. This year, Cub Pack 35 participated in fundraisers, the Red Lion Halloween Parade, the Scouting for Food drive, a roller skating party, a sleepover and bowling party, an Orioles baseball game, camping at Camp Tuckahoe, a baseball and ice cream party, and a family picnic and swim party.
Boy Scout Sunday is celebrated in church each year in February.
