there are two trips planned? A needs assessment trip in 2011 starting March 12th and ending March 27th and the medical mission trip in early 2013.
that on the needs assessment trip our emissaries will meet with the Emuhaya Group of the Disabled and the leadership of the Mercy Home orphanage for girls to assess medical needs?
That the first trip will be under the supervision of Pastor Della Fahnestock?
That Pam Girvin is chairing the Kenya Medical Mission Committee?
That the committee members are Bob & Tina Uberti, Cheryl Vaclavik, Maureen Whitely, John Langley, Winnie Kowalik, Glenn Shaffer, Bill Taylor & George Krone?
That the committee is planning several fundraisers during 2011 to help fund this mission?
That the first fundraiser is a Valentine’s Dinner on February 12 in the SS auditorium? (You will be hearing more about this in the weeks to come)
That our participants will cross the equator several times during their trip?
That there will be a spiritual emphasis on the mission trip?
That the committee is working on a budget for the 2012 trip already?
That the expected cost is $3,500 per person?
That the 2012 mission trip may be as many as 10 – 14 people?
